Creative community challenged to deliver stills, animations or VR/Real-time

HP Mars Home Planet, the year-long competition that challenges the creative community to design solutions to support one million humans on Mars, has entered the rendering phase.

Entrants must either render one of their own designs or reference the finalists entries of the previous two challenges – the Mars Home Planet Concept Challenge and Mars Home Planet 3D Modeling Challenge. The submission can be a still, animation or VR/Real-time executable in one of two classes – Architecture/Civil Engineering or Vehicles/Mechanical Engineering.

The organisers recommend that entrants use any of the following technologies – Autodesk Arnold, Chaos Group’s V-Ray, Epic Games’ Unreal Studio, or HP Z Workstations – but they are not required in order to enter.

There are some amazing prizes up for grabs including desktop, mobile and VR backpack HP Z Workstations.

Submissions are due by July 6, 2018.
